If you are at least 18 years old and are thinking of getting your flu shot, you are eligible for our research study! The Healthy Donors study collects blood samples from people receiving this season’s 2025/26 influenza and/or COVID-19 vaccines!

Researchers can use biospecimen, like serum, isolated from your blood to understand what is happening in our immune system after a vaccine! There are many ways to understand a immune response, you can look at antibodies in your blood or cellular activity that occurs as a result of the vaccination.

The Healthy Donors study in particular is an observational study that follows people before and after seasonal vaccination over the course of many years! Participation can be as limited as one visit but many participants elect to continue coming to see us as they get new vaccines.
